Many marketers are producing content on a regular basis, but are unable to see a return on their investment in the form of sales and revenue. These marketers might be making one of many content marketing mistakes. In this article, Anita Campbell lists four common mistakes and also provides a fix for each. For example, she says many marketers create content that no one is reading. Campbell’s suggested fix? Go beyond the well-known social networks:
Make sure you’re promoting every single blog post, e-book, and whitepaper via all of your social media accounts. But go beyond Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Google+. There are other online promotion tools to consider, such as BizSugar.com (social bookmarking tool) and Social Buzz Club (community of content sharers), so get creative and expand your reach.”
