Paper, the first app from Facebook’s Creative Labs, is set to launch in the U.S. on Monday, February 3rd. The app is a curated news feed that surfaces stories hand-picked by editors. As the article’s author, Josh Constine, writes,
…not everyone’s friends share content in the areas they’re interested. I might be the only one of my friends that digs business news or foodie stuff, and Paper could deliver it to me without me having to track down specific Pages to Like.
The curated content Facebook’s Paper surfaces will seek to provide users with the latest news, posts by expert bloggers and opinion pieces, as well as allowing users to share their own content. We’re looking forward to seeing how Paper folds it’s way into the world of content curation.
